SteadfastnessSince I always did
what I thought was right,
I have no regrets
over the outcome of my actions.
If I could know
the result before hand,
it would rarely influence
or change my actions.
It is not
that I'm always right or infallible,
but I do things,
because my heart tells me so.
If things don't work out many times,
and cause disappointments,
this should not upset me
or make me sway,
for I will endure and stand firm,
for what I believe and think is right.
Real courage is not necessarily
displayed during an attack only,
but much more so,
in being steadfast,
and by persevering
as one makes a stand
for what one believes in
and is willing to fight for.
