The Pen Or The Sword

The pen is mightier than the sword
because with the sword
you fight singular battles.
With the pen you fight in
major battles by influencing
many of your own kind
to band together
for the next onslaught
or in defense of what
is common belief
to secure the survival
of your people.


The Morning After.

The sun is up and so am I.
Some clouds are moving,
and we have a blue sky.
I'm leaving this place
since I'm well again,
the worst is over,
and I'm feeling less pain.
Going to work
with a new battle cry.
And life just goes on,
one just has to try
to win all the battles
that are coming our way
with every step
by night or by day.
For life is a struggle
with its daily pain.
If you enjoy the struggle
You are born again,
each and every day.
