True Friendship

Oh, what an encouraging
and inspiring feeling it is
to know one has a true friend!
Not having to hide thoughts,
nor measure words,
but to speak one's mind
with heart and soul,
always knowing
that your faithful friend
will keep
what is worth keeping
and letting go
what is not,
without ever jeopardizing
his loyalty and friendship
for you.
